Recognizing a need for help and reaching out is the first step toward positive changes and a healthier you. My goal is to help people to reach an improved level of mental health and well-being. Self-Care is important as it is impossible to be an effective caregiver to others if you are not taking care of yourself. I utilize a strengths-based approach, meeting people where they are in their journey and working toward a common goal.
I have experience working with a variety of ages, but my area of passion involves working with children and adolescents. My areas of experience include trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, RAD, Autism, and SPMI’s among others. I have worked as a Crisis Therapist as well as providing ongoing counseling in an office and intensive in-home setting.
At times, life can become overwhelming and confusing at any stage of life. Individuals have differing abilities managing the circumstances faced during times of crisis or in times of calm. It is my goal to guide individuals to gain and grow the tools to navigate the world today.
